“Not organised enough. Seaview gardens the gambia”

On arrival we were not allocated the rooms as promised we are all in our seventies and were put up flights of stairs which in the heat of The Gambia would have killed us off ! Definately not geared up for older people no grab rails to be able to get into the bath and showers were over bath type the bath surface was extremely slippy no bath mats either we resorted to putting a towel in the bath so as to not fall but not easy to get in and out nothing to hold on. The generator was completely capput breaking down all of the time leaving you in pitch black! The pool was almost inaccessible as the rungs to the ladder were missing never replaced the whole time we were there. A very seedy hotel with prostitution blatantly on view all of the times really did not appreciate this at all! Would advise people over sixty to steer clear of this hotel. It's position not good either long walk to beach over derelect waste ground and pitch darkness. Our friends returned to their room one evening to find the door wide open and drilling going on with a guy putting a new air conditioning unit in at 11 pm at night they had to sit outside because of all the dust!
