I started doing online grocery shopping a few months ago as is difficult for me to be on my feet for long periods. At first all seemed to work well then several times I was sent substitute items which were usually much larger sizes than I would ever buy so I decided to tick the no substitutes box.
In the last 3-4 orders things seem to have gone downhill in terms of the number of unavailable items, some are understandable but not others which are every day items like eggs and long life milk. When such basic foods are missing on my order it leaves me feeling if I still have to go the shop the whole exercise of online shopping seems pointless. I feel this is down to bad stock management a supermarket this big should not be running out of every day foods
