“not satisfied”

We had Everest cold call to offer us an apparent good deal for fitting new windows. We needed to replace a few windows so we decided to go with them. They disappointed in every way. They wrote to advise me of a date when they were going to install but on the day no-one turned up and when I phoned they knew nothing of it. Another date was fixed but they were running late on that day so they had to cancel. They eventually (3rd time trying) turned up late, although I was promised the first slot of the day. They fitted the windows and did a reasonable job. We were having two visits because two windows were upstairs and they wanted to fit them separately. Being not happy with their first installation I called them on the day of installation to check they were coming. They said by slot was between 12 - 5pm although no-one had told me this. This was 10 am so I went to the shops early and was just turning into my road at 11.45 when their van shot passed me. They had called outside of my time slot. I got home in time to phone them and ask that the van could turn around and they said they had done that and the installers would be with me shortly. No-one arrived that day. I was by this time so angry I phoned up and got no satisfaction from their staff. By this time I would have been happy to cancel but we had already paid a deposit and were held to an agreement. They eventually came, late on another day. I left the man to it but when I was asked to inspect their work they had put in the wrong glass. What can I say. Disappointed, angry, frustrated and totally worn out. I would never go with Everest again and would not recommend them. They are NOT going to compensate me for the time I had to take off work for these missed days and no-one has phoned up to offer an apology.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.
