I booked a transfer online to my hotel 'Rixos Bab Al Bahr - Ras Al Khaimah.' Paid and received the booking acknowledgement. Then shortly afterwards asked they me to pay an additional amount as the hotel was not actually in Res Al Khaimah. I spoke with customer services who said I had to pay extra as there was a difference of some 25KM on the journey. I explained that yes, I was aware of that and that the hotel was actually 25KM CLOSER than the centre of RAK. I.e the overall journey was 25KM LESS than I was paying for. I then got some scripted nonsense that they work closely with their local geography experts blah blah. Look at Google maps Suntransfers, you don't have to be a genius to see you are wrong.
