“Aweful Customer Service - Didn't Even Get On a Tour!”

Yes I'm one of those people that generally only writes a review if things are really great or awful. This is definitely the later and Taj Tours is quite possibly one of the worst run companies I've ever dealt with.
I booked family members on a tour with Taj, for which they would have to fly into the UK. We paid the deposit and all was well. 2 months prior to the tour departure we tried to contact the company to pay the balance and were continuously deferred (which should have started to ring alarm bells to be fair). 1 month prior to departure, after continuous calls from us, we were informed that they had cancelled the tour as only a few people had booked. There was no sympathy for the fact people were flying in for the tour. Luckily Star Tours saved the day (which those that travelled would give 5 stars to by the way).
In addition, we were promised a refund of our deposit, which 2 months later I am still chasing for. This is made harder by the fact no one answers the phone, and when they do, the responses are full of false promises to return the call the next day.

My advice - stay clear of them

ps. They get 1 star as I can't submit this with no stars!
