“Rubbish after service”

written by 73Reid on 17/09/2017

I am writing in response to your email re customer satisfaction.
I was disappointed in the car that was supplied by your company in that when holidaying in the U.S. or Canada, I always treat myself to a larger American style SUV that is more suited to the roads in those counties and comfortable for long journeys. Usually these cars are listed as Jeep Cherokee or similar, as was the one I requested, now I have never been given the aforementioned Jeep, but have always been happy with the alternative offered, last year I had a top of the range Ford Edge with all the extras and was extremely satisfied with this. But this year's car, a Kia Sorrento, just didn't tick all the boxes, when in North America, I like to drive an American car.
Your company's representative acknowledged that I was less than satisfied, but no other cars were available, so I continued on my way, driving the Kia.
We had a lovely holiday, and on returning the car, was given a discount due to the car not being quite up to expectations (Thank you)
The day after returning the car, however, and still being on my holiday in Canada, I was rudely awakened at 7:45 by a phone call from a female representative from Enterprise for a chat about my experience with the company, she seemed unable to grasp that I was still on holiday and that she had woken me up, so the conversation wasn't that long, but now the plot thickens, on my return from holiday and on checking of my emails, I found an email from a rep from Enterprise, dated 30th of August, several days after me having rented the car. The email informed me that the Kia I was driving had been sold, and could I bring it back in exchange for another car and a full tank of gas! What sort of company makes a request like that? I'm so glad I never saw the email at the time of it being sent as I was 4 hours drive away from the office I rented it from and in the middle of my holiday. I would have also been worried that there may of been repercussions of my driving a car that had been sold to another person/company.
In conclusion I feel quite dissatisfied with the service I received from Enterprise, suffice it to say I will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone else.
