WRITE A REVIEW

“great people but perhaps not enough of them”

The staff at my local Evans are very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. My four star review is because the business end of things could do with improvement: there aren't enough people to help customers and manage the tills at the same time, so (a bit like builders) they juggle. In buying my Brompton, I gave up waiting for the salesman to have the time to ask an engineer about the wobble that disturbed me, and I had to come back the next day. Spending over £1,000 on a bike may not be a lot for them, but it is for me!

That said, I will always buy my bikes from Evans, because I have absolute confidence in their expertise, integrity and enthusiasm. I trust their advice; they deal with me as a person and not as a "sale". This may not be unique to Evans - I've had similar service from independent shops - but it's more rare in a chain.
