“Worst Camsite I have visited will not use Homair campsites”

Mobile homes- where can i start, everywhere is dirty no maintenance is carried out. Poorly equipted with nothing functioning, no real way of cooking no BBQ. Had to go and buy a portable grill just to cook on. Caravans are about 20 years old wallpaper falling off the walls the whole floor moved and creaked when walking around. Beds and matresses were disgusting. Curtains were so dirty I didnt want to touch them to close them.
Campsite- zero maintenance site, as in everywhere you look is filthy and poorly maintained.
Swimming pool- life guards are akin to thugs rulling the pool. They are so busy saying that you have to wear certain type of swimming shorts, what what they really want is that you wear overshorts when not in the pool. But they missed this instead bullying 3-5 year old children and throwing them out of the pool. whilst there i witnessed at least 5 young children thrown out of the pool by this bully. he then strutted around the pool feeling pleased with himself, disgraceful.
Local beach- sandy clean, local restaurants are nice if a little expensive.
Reception- small unequipted, they have 1 bbq that you can rent, it is electric. If you want there is a 1 week waiting list you can only have it for 1 night so you have to cook, clean it and return it. Crazy.
I was really disapointed with this campsite and the disgusting shabby state of the caravans. I wrote a letter to Homair. It took 6 weeks for them to draft a response, which shows how much they care about customer service. The response basically said thanks for contacting us, sorry you didn't like it, hope you come back again. How short sighted of them. I hope this is one of the companies that goes bust and makes way for a more quality establishment.
I spent thounsands of euros to stay in this site and feel taken in by Homair for saying this site was a 4 star site, when it wasn't.
I will never use Homair again I wouldnt want to waste another one of my precious holidays.
