I booked the car with Hertz trough Priceline to collect at Frankfurt Hahn airport and drop off at Cologne/Bonn airport 3 hours later,one day one way car hire.I was quoted €76 by Priceline.At the terminal counter that price shot up to €182.I had no choice as I had to catch a flight from Cologne airport.Back to England one day later I received an invoice from Hertz for the amount of €257!!!!Super cover insurance I never asked for,fuel and service even tho I refueled the car just before the airport and some other charges.How on earth can one day car hire cost €257?! That's a highway robbery.I contacted them but have not heard anything yet.Went to my bank and will be asking for a chargeback.Will never ever rent the car from them,id rather walk.
