“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ”

Booked on line with easirent to hire a small car, collecting from Dublin airport for 8 days, it was the cheapest by about £20 compared to other car hire companies. Arrived in Dublin at 21:30. Had to wait nearly an hour to be picked up and taken to Easirents office as their van had broken down. On arrival we and another customer were told, without the slightest apology that they didn't have any cars left of the size we had booked as it was summertime and they were busy. This meant our only option as it was late at night was to take a different size car and pay an extra 80 Euros. Surely, if it's your error you give a different car at the price that was advertised. We were travelling on a budget and ended up not hiring the car, having to get a late night bus and getting to our destination at 2:30 am. An horrendous start to a trip away. No apology, just a bad attitude from the man on reception and no offer of any solution. They obviously do this regularly assuming people are tired and will just accept having to pay extra.  I would advise to not be fooled by the 'so called' cheapest option.
