Reading through the reviews, I would say I have myself also experienced issues with down time on this provider. However, I would like to make a few things a bit clearer for the potential user.
Firstly, it is claimed that UK-Cheapest are a cheap host. I would agree to this in regards to their web addresses for the UK, but would not necessarily same the same for the hosting as I am able to find similar deals for the same package on many other websites at a fraction of the cost.
Secondly, in response to downtime. It is a nuisance that as of late the servers have been experiencing more downtime. However, to put this in perspective, it has been many months since the last major downtime, though on occasion their sites might be disrupted by a server backup for 30mins to an hour, but this is done in the early hours UK time and is not unusual for most webhosts.
Thirdly when it comes to support, personally I have never experienced a problem with this as they generally reply within a few hours and at longest within 24 hours to any support tickets. This is actually very fast for a company and is the best support service I've had of previous hosts. Though the level of support does depend on the knowledge of the person replying. This is the same in all customer support areas.
