“Not paying funds to account”

What can I say, waited 5 weeks for HMRC to pay VAT refund. Finally arrived today only for Cashplus to hold stating the payment is under review. What review, company money so give it to the company. Staff are clueless no straight answer so obvious they are reading from a screen, no manager to come to the phone. We have been waiting since 9am, time now is 4.05pm. 6 telephone calls and still no answers or money. £8000.
