"Solicitors" only by name. These guys just can't be bothered and I am not sure how much longer they will sustain their complete disregard for their customers. Don't even ask for an apology. You will be better off complaining directly to your mortgage provider.
-Forgot to request a redemption figure so remortgage got delayed
-Didn't tell me that a form hadn't arrived so remortgage got more delayed
-Told me that the service was free so I shouldn't complain (I looked up free in the dictionary and there was no mention of bad service and attitude next to it). The service is not free, it will be paid for somewhere down the road by the client.
I have used several conveyancing firms in the last ten years but these ones are by far the worst. Scottish Widows need to detach themselves from this firm before they get tarnished with the same brush. With any luck they will go bust when the housing market crashes.
