'Talk about things you like.'
None of it. I liked NOTHING about this service.
I used the online website as I have an ASDA store near to me, do not drive and wanted a lot of photos printing.
1. The website is appallingly made, but knowing it was an ASDA brand, one I have trusted for a long time, I stuck with it.
2. The photos took AN ENTIRE NIGHT to upload because the webpage appeared to keep crashing.
3. Once everything was finally uploaded, I placed the order. They took the money straight away and sent a confirmation email.
4. A week passed (having clicked collect in store) and we popped in to ASDA anyway, so I decided to check. Not entirely to my surprise, the order wasn't there. It hadn't even been logged as a processing job. It did not exist. Bare in mind they have around 30 quid of my money at this point and I have nothing to show for it.
5. The lovely person behind the counter phoned up their online service team to find out why after I gave them the reference number and I went and did my shopping
6. Upon my return, I was told the order showed no images to be printed and there is a possibility that one of the files corrupting stopped the order in its entirety. She gave me the number to phone and ask for a refund.
7. Phoned up and asked for a refund. The clerk on the phone knew who I was and said I didn't need to call as the refund had already been authorised. When I asked why on earth I hadn't been contacted, they told me they would have phoned me within the next couple of days to let me know and process a refund due to heavy traffic and not working weekends. Except my order was placed the previous Monday.
I will NEVER be using this service again and am going to Costco as soon as the next chance arises. Absolutely appalled by the disgusting service I have experienced, to take money and then not immediately make contact as soon as the order was flagged is worrying and makes me wonder if I would have ever had my money back had I not chased it. Scary.
