I know most people tend to only take to writing a review when something goes wrong but I just found myself recommending these guys to a friend and though you know what I'll write them a review because the service I have had makes it worthwhile doing. I've been taking my own cars and those of my family there for a quite a few years now for MOT's, tyres and shock absorbers etc. They have always been straight up and completely honest with me. One car I took in with a suspected puncture turned out to be a leaking rim, fixed without charge stating that there was no puncture to pay for. Another time my car failed its MOT with a headlight bulb out, they replaced the bulb but it was still out and advised that I'd have to take it to an auto electrician but then the MOT guy went back and had a fiddle with the connections under the bonnet for 10 mins, the bulb came on and he passed the MOT.

Tyres for my current car can be expensive but they have always pointed out that they can and have got me budget tyres if I've been prepared to come back in a day or two. Can't say fairer than that...'you can have the expensive tyres now or come back tomorrow for the cheaper ones'.

They never ever try to sell me stuff I don't need and are not pushy when it comes to pointing out the special offers ATS are running which I'm sure they are obliged to promote. This is exactly what I look for in a garage.....honesty, technical know how and good customer service.

And no I don't work for ATS....just believe in credit where it is due!
