Good Points
Long warranty and cheaper than a Dyson
Bad Points
Many - see general comments

Had a Dyson which did everything I wanted from it, but no sooner than the warranty ran out the faults started, this then resulted in high cost of repairs. So the Vax VZL6015 Mach 5 with a 6 year warranty looked just the job.......but that's where the good points end as there are only so many times you can put up with getting cracked on your legs when you use the tools as the thing falls over at the slightest movement. The weight of the machine didn't 'appear' too bad in the shop, but in reality it must be one of the heaviest hoovers around so you need to be fairly strong to push and carry this thing about.
The flex comes out from the bottom of the hoover, consequently you are constantly hoovering over it - another design fault!
I cannot see us keeping this machine much longer - but which manufacturer next?
