The breed itself has a reputation for being vicious and uncontrollable but ive never known a breed more loving.Ive grew up with Rotties all my life and have been around them since I was 3 days old. He weighed around 82kg and treated me like his best friend..slept next to my crib every night and even used to put my dirty diapers in the bin.

Unfortunately due to his size he contracted crippling arthritis which is the only downfall of the breed. They need long walks and runs every day,if they don't they will pile on the pounds due to their diet and appetite which will put more pressure on their joints.

My family payed around $1000 for him when he was 6 months old in 1996 and was about the same size as a cigarette packet, strongly advise you do your research when looking to buy this breed as many breeders wont provide you the correct information about your puppy. Best to check the mother and fathers health records too so you know what your getting yourself into.

Never a dull day with a rottie! hope this helps.
