Cliff Richard, Mistletoe and Wine

Who could possibly not like lovely Cliff? Mistletoe and Wine is another Classic that gets played every year at Christmas without fail! The grown ups love it, the kids love it, and even the drunks at the pub sway from side to side singing it (come on, who admits to doing that at some time?)! Even though Cliff has released other records at Christmas, it is this one that comes back year after year, and I'm sure will keep coming back for many years to come!

I'll be honest, if you put me in a room with Cliff and an air-rifle then I'd happily blow his brains out, but even an hardened Cliff-hater like has a soft spot for Mistletoe and Wine.

When we visit the mother she has this song on every Christmas Day and she adores it. After more years than I care to remeber, this one has grown on me and I occasionally hum along if I've had a few Stella's. I'm ashamed but I like it.
