“Daylight Robbery”

I happened to be online looking for a deal to go to India from USA. company website popped up on my computer screen and i decided to give a try . After careful planning and an assurance from the man who arranged my ticket A man called Mr Gau, i decided to book a ticket to India on a condition that i can change dates and cancel my ticket without any fees and problems within 48 hours. " As simple as that" That was what Mr Gau's favorite quote.

The following day i needed to cancel my ticket because something came up all of a sudden and i really could not go. I called up to the company and asked for Mr Gau and they said he was not there. I told them my concern and they asked me to speak with A supervisor called sun . she was not any help and told me blindly that i cannot cancel this ticket and can only change dates. That was not that promised me at the time of booking. she said there is nothing can do either travel or loose money. only option is change dates.

After my 48 hours time frame was over Mr AS simple as that(Gau) contacted me over the phone and asked me about my trip ,I had to tell him about my change of plans and my conversation with Sun. He told me you could have done that with sun yesterday now time is lapsed. We cannot cancel and there will be cancellation charge of US $ 200.00 .

I had to pay 200 dollars just because this company is greedy and they just want to make money no matter what.They blamed it on to the Airline and i did speak with Airline they said it is up to the travel agent. I did speak with united airlines and they said they did not charge any any cancellation fees.

Long story short guy"s Be careful when you deal with this people.They will pester you to book tickets through them and once you booked all their promises will be forgotten.
I will be taking up with this matter with Ministry of civil Aviation in India as well as here in United states.
