General Comments
Before i write this review i must mention the bugs i have found using this Siemens SL55 mobile phone: sometimes without any warning the screen will freeze and you will have to take the battery out an turn the phone back on. Also, having had the phone for around 8 months it has suddenly decided to delete my whole phonebook which means i have lost over 100 numbers. You may be thinking now that i'm goin to go on and criticise the phone but i'm not. That problem might just be with my phone, i do not know. Anyway, i payed 360quid for my phone on pay-as-u-go when it first came out (august i think) and for the first few months i was really happy with it. The design is original and sophisticated (though feels slightly plasticy)and it comes with 2 good games (well mine did) which are rayman golf and mobile tennis.
Mmmm....i'm running out of good things to say about it now, the features (polyphonic ringtones, gprs and java) are expected to be incorparated in phones around £100, so the phone has awful value for money. The colour screen isnt used as well as other phone companies e.g. nokia or samsung and the standard polyphonics arent particarly good.
To be fair this phone is going to sell whateva i say or whateva anyone else says, the unique look will justify purchase for people not interested in features and just looking for a phone to flash around when with mates and show it off. Anyone looking for a feature-packed phone would be better off investing in a nokia 6230 or sagem myx-7.
