“As the 2nd single of the 'X' album, Kylie brings us...”

Good Points
- It's a catchy pop tune with Kylie effortlessly proving she is still the reigning Queen of Pop.

- It's a dancefloor filler.

Bad Points
- People may be reminded of the 'Fever' album although Wow sounds more updated!

General Comments
As the 2nd single of the 'X' album, Kylie brings us Wow. And Wow indeed! This little slice of pop perfection is just as tasty as 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'. The song was written by Cathy Dennis who also wrote Can't Get You Out Of My Head so Wow was always going to be great.

Many critics have slammed Kylie for ripping of Madonna's holiday. It's probably just me but I don't think Holiday and Wow sound anything like each other. Wow is so much more up to date and modern and allows Kylie's voice to remain cute and slinky. The song is full of nice piano rolls and pumping beats that it is just whats missing from the charts at the moment. Fun!

Kylie has never proclaimed to be something she's not. She remains modest. I think that critics were anticipating her return just so they could make a name for themselves by being deliberately harsh and unjust. Alot of people say that '2 Hearts' was a flop. She scored a Number 4 in the UK and a Number 1 in her own country. Personally I think that Wow should be a sure fire Number 1. It's pop heaven with a little coat of sweetness. The critics are totally missing the point about Kylie's 'X' album and the singles being taken to promote them. Kylie is all about the fun! So get that Wow track spinning and get your groove on because Miss Minogue is here to stay.
