Good Points
Ease of parking. Relaxed atmosphere. Personable efficient staff.
Quality of dishes. Great coffee.

Bad Points
If you don't want an open kitchen with all the buzz of a restaurant then this may not be the place for you.

General Comments
We have used Alexanders many many times for coffees and full dining experiences. Never disappointing and regularly batting well above their weight they have a skill and passion in the kitchen which is fantastic to see in these days of mediocrity. Service is of a high standard with the staff often going out of there way to assist. The owner takes pride in telling us he has over 1000 customers a week and hundreds of regulars. It is true that they shut some evenings during the winter but times are clearly displayed on the door, we are told summer opening will soon be the case. We can only recommend this local restaurant as a must to visit.
