written by Sharla82 on 16/06/2009

Good Points
50+mpg, tank range said 640 miles, ideal motorway car, six gears yet tons of power in each, massive boot area. Clever fuel door with no inner fuel cap. Simply open the door and push the pump against the metal slot. No chance to get deisel on you !.

Bad Points
Servicing ?. Only done at 18000 yet light on again at 24000 - why ?. Long car so could do with rear parking sensor.

General Comments
A hire car driven for 4 days. The Renault Megane Sport Tourer 2.0 dCi 150 Dynamique is designed for the rep/executive with motorway miles in mind. Its big but pulls easily in all 6 gears. Its very easy to speed in !. Its quiet except on pull away. Lots of kit. Numerous button which I did'nt understand as I had no book !. Rear window can be stopped from opening by the driver , saves children climbing out. Two cigarette sockets plus 12v rear socket. No key & push button start very clever, though I kept looking for the key when I stalled. At least 50mpg poss 55, I'm unsure how full it was when I got it. If you crusie and not floor it then 55mpg easy !
