Supposedly will take a 500GB HDD but the one Maplins sent me had a big sticker in the hard-drive enclosure saying 250GB Max HDD.The operators manual is very poor & badly translated I feel. I bought the Nikkai A52HF as a "B grade from Maplins ,the one they sent had been well round the block and I have returned it for a replacement..
General Comments
Not worth the full price looks & feels very cheap in my opinion. The only reason I am getting a replacement rather than a refund is I only paid £20 as a "B Grade", I have a spare 320GB hard-drive to put in it and it is not my main recorder. The one maplins sent me had obviously been well used and was second hand rather than "B Grade" in my opinion, do not recommend Nikkai A52HF.
