Good Points
I think this is a good starter bass. It's not real expensive and has two knobs that you really only need if your a beginner. One knob is the master volume knob, and the other knob is the tone knob. I believe this is an alright bass and I give it a 7-8 on features.

Bad Points
The only thing that is really wrong with this bass is that it doesn't really make sound past the 13th fret for me. On sound quality, I give it a 6-7.

General Comments
The overall rating I would give the Fender Squier P-Bass is a 7.5. I can't quite say it is an 8 because there are a few things on the bass that bother me. One is the appearance. It's real basic. But hey, it's cheap and you really can't expect much from a cheap bass.
