House of Manannan, Isle of Man, is absolute magic, the audio visual displays, the attention to detail, being allowed to take our time wandering through, no great crowds, being able to get the feel of the times displayed e.g. Celtic, Viking etc.
Even listening to the songs reminding us of holidays in the Isle of Man in more recent times. Even the smell of the smoke from the fire in the Celtic Roundhouse & the smell of rope & tar in the chandlers exhibit. A delight for the senses. My husband , daughter & I visited the House of Mannanan & it was a highlight of our trip to the Isle of Man.
We recommend it to everyone to visit at least once.
Winner of many awards & now being lauded as a model for future heritage museums in over 14 European countries.
A MUST SEE!
