“The design of Yahoo Mail is great, looks cool and...”

written by PoloPete on 22/01/2008

Good Points
Yahoo Mail for me is very simple and easy to use, great design so its easy to navigate around. When you first join it gives you lots of little help boxes so you can learn how to do almost everything it has to offer, which is a lot, quick and easy.
Great Spam blocker, in my opinion much more efficiant than any other Email Address sites, seems to pick up "www" and recognise the email's you dont want. However, very sufficient in letting you choose what you want, but to be honest the most positive piont I can make, its so easy and simple, no messing about!
Looks cool, more options to choose from for almost every aspect of an email address site!

Bad Points
Sometimes, and its very rarely Yahoo Mail picks up on "www" and straight away puts it in the Spam folder, now this can be changed in the option folder, so not really a problem.
Plus, the only times this has happened to me is if I've signed up to another site, therefore you would check Spam straight away and using the very easy method of changing the emails you get of certain sites to "Not Spam" this becomes not a negative point about Yahoo Mail at all.

General Comments
The design of Yahoo Mail is great, looks cool and simple and easy to navigate around, never got lost (which is quite surprsing for me).

In my opinion, and I dont know if its just because of my computer not loading other Email address sites slowly but Yahoo Mail seems to be much quicker at loading pages, emails, options... Everything!
The Spam blocker, in my experience, is much more sufficient than any other email address site I have used in the past. When I switched from MSN Mail to Yahoo I was much more pleased.

However, as said in negative points the Spam folder can sometimes be a bit to strict, but for me only when you sign up to another site, and if you was to do so you would know it would be emailing you therefore inevitably look for the email in Spam, and the easy options Yahoo offers (again as said) does not make this a problem.

Therefore, I conclude I would recommend Yahoo Mail as the best email address site I have personally used to anyone.
