General Comments
I was given this laptop for work and was a great leap forward from my last company laptop. Ergonomically it is excellent, keyboard is typical Dell, simple but rugged and easy to type long reports on. Battery life is above average with over 4 hours just possible with the wireless chipset disabled (It has a hardware kill switch as well as a software option) Screen is 1280x800 which is more than adequate. Specs won't set the heather alight but it races through office applications. Enters and resumes hibernation quickly which is great for travelling from account to account.

Back features:

4 USB ports,

Ethernet,

56k modem

VGA out

Firewire (IR on some earlier models)

Headphone/Mic sockets
