WOULD NOT ADVISE BUYING FROM THIS STORE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED ALTERATIONS MAKING TO YOUR DRESS.

I bought an evening gown for a black-tie wedding which was too big at a size 22 (I am a size 16) but was reassured by the staff that it could be taken in and altered to fit, as it was the only size left! The dress was altered by simply taking in massive seams at the sides and the dress did not hang well or fit at all well. I complained and left the dress to be altered again and pressed. On collection, the dress was no better. The side seams were still the same and now the dress was longer at the front than the back. I had not choice with 7 days to go to the wedding but to take it to a professional dressmaker and pay £25.00 to have it professionally altered. She commented that whoever had made the alterations did not know what they were doing. I wrote to the shop,s owner and have not even had the courtesy of a reply, let alone compensation. My experience as a 46 year old buying an evening gown was bad enough but I would hate for a young bride buying her dress and bridesmaid dresses to go through a similar experience.
