Kuramathi Tourist Island - Kuramathi Village: We Visited Kuramthi Island for our honeymoon. The experience was absolutely fabulous! The moment we stepped off the boat onto the jetty, my breath was taken away from the sights, sounds and smells. The wooden bungalow we stayed in was spotless, it had an outside shower which was completly private and cetainly made a different way to wash. Every night we returned to our bungalow to find our bed sheets arranged in different patterns with hundreds of flowers decorating the bed.

The food was excellent, buffet style with a huge choice of international cuisine including maldivian specialities including fresh fish from the grill. There was also a waiter service for meals every other evening. The indian restauraunt was excellent (at an extra cost). We also dined at the other restaurants on the island and they were first class dining.

The bar area was relaxing and there were very efficient/attentive staff. Many a night spent with cocktail tasting. Entertainment ok, lacks a little originality.

I would recommend watching the stingray being fed every evening at the end of the island (10 min walk!). The snorkelling was fantasitic, seeing fish I will never see again e.g parrott fish, clown fish, and reef sharks(that were frightend of us!)

I would certainly recommened this friendly island to anyone who appricates excellent service(with a smile), good food, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and something diferent.
