Went to the brasserie on Saturday night for my Mums birthday. Mediocre service from inexperienced staff. Light, bright (too light and bright) surroundings. Ridiculous confused menu. Terrible food. There is no effort at all put into the food here. I had the spicy lamb burger in foccacia bun. This turned out to be some awful premade nonsense with painted on grill lines and the bun was some flaccid dry pointless cardboard experience. Really bad value at £12. This is the worst kind of out of the freezer into the microwave type cooking. You can get so much better for the money. It was like the sort of things that you pick up in Iceland 6 for £1. If it was made in house then I have no idea how they managed to end up with this highly processed reclaimed meat style rubbish. Didn't make a fuss as it was my Mum's birthday. The rest of the food was similar in look and delivery as far as I could see. At least at a Wetherspoons you expect this sort of thing and it only costs a fiver with a free drink. Anywhere is better than here on this showing. Not impressed, there is better to be had in Banstead.
