General Comments
So I am probably not the best person to do a computer game review considering the last game I had was Sonic the hedgehog on the Sega Megadrive over 15 years ago. However this year Santa must of thought we were good when he left a Wii and Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock under our tree. The game works just the same as other Guitar Hero's on other consoles with the exception that the one on the Wii is of course wireless.

With 5 days of ownership under my belt I am starting to find the start up a bit annoying you can not insert the Wii controller into the guitar until you have selected it on the Wii menu and confirmed that's what you want to play through four pages. once the programme installs their are lots of graphics which are a bit boring but luckily you can fast forwarded with the use of the 'A' on your Wii controller. Once you are into the game you are then given the choice to play either Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert with 4 songs to choose from. Once you have completed these 4 songs then you unlock 4 more. The songs themselves are all well known but may not be ones that you are very familiar with and although they have been made famous by some very very big bands over the years this does not mean you are playing that version.

Once you have then complete those songs you then meet the first Boss Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine where you have to pit your new found guitar skills against his to a battle to the death. Along the way you can pick up different features to make him miss his cords but try and do it quickly before he unleashes his death drain on you. Once completed you then release more songs and start earning money to spend in the shop.

On each level there is the same songs to complete which just get harder each time. The Medium level introduces the blue button with the occasional orange and Hard the notes are very close together using all 5 cords. I would love to tell you about Expert but I think I will need at least another week.

Overall the game is fun for the whole family even a novice like myself. It is rated a 12 but the songs are no different than what you would hear on most rock CD's so it is a parental choice if you let under 12 use (there are plenty of tracks they can play like, When you were young by the Killers, Ruby by Kasier Cheifs, Paint it Black by Rolling Stones to name a few.
