I am involved in content supply for a website hosted by Adept Hosting. My client is constantly complaining about the level of apathy at Adept. I know his access to his website disappears almost every other week because I get call to say 'my work is not needed' 2 or 3 times a month. He tells me he has support tickets unanswered from last year. How on earth can a company call itself a hosting company if it has no redundancy measures in place, nor any consistent support, nor any system of notifying why websites disappear for hours on end, nor any attempt to apologise to their client?
Geesh, what a sad state of affairs.
