“I have one of these for my daily commute into work. ”

I have one of these for my daily commute into work.

There's good and bad things about it.

Good

1) Very slim, easy to carry around everywhere. The earphones are are bulkier than the player in your pocket.

2) good rich bass sound. I did change to sennheiser earphones later.

3) Nice features like FM radio, voice dictation/microphone.

4) Battery life is decent at 11 hours or so.

Bad

1) A percentage of my downloaded MP3 podcasts were crashing the player, ie. I had to turn it off and on again. I finally found the problem, the ID3 tags in the MP3 files. So now I use the free iTunes software to remove all the ID3 tags. Under iTunes you right click on the podcast, select "Convert ID3 tags" and pick "none".

2) The touch sensitive panel is ridiculously sensitive.

If I have a 60 minute podcast and I lose my place I cannot hold the button down gently enough, I might fast forward for 10-15 mins tops before it jumps to the next podcast/song. Very annoying.

3) Small screen, so if you've a long filename / song / podcast name, it takes a while to scroll across. You can change the speed of scrolling, but it's still not ideal.
