“Where do I start? Wensum Property Management are the...”

Where do I start? Wensum Property Management are the most incompetant estate agents I have ever encountered. They have extortionate admin fees for god knows what. They force you to pay £35 every 6 months to renew your contract. They have 3 monthly "inspections" of the property and didn't attend or tell us they were not coming. They then rescheduled and again did not attend or inform us that they were not coming. The property has a major damp problem which they failed to inform us about when we viewed the property. However when we moved in we found we were supplied with a dehumidifier which means that they knew it had a damp problem. They have now tried to blame this on us and say it is caused by condensation by us "drying clothes in the property" even though it is clearly not a condensation problem. Occuring in the bedroom and living room not bathroom and kitchen/salt deposition on walls/ absence of black mould etc. The contract even states that the tennant is not allowed to dry clothes in the property despite providing a clothes horse. I have had them turn up unannounced for a viewing to show people around with no notice given. I then received written notice that they were coming two days later and the post mark was dated the day of the viewing. They didn't notify the gas and electricity suppliers that we were renting the property and we had several visits from debt collectors who believed we were the previous tennants. Even though they said that they would take care of notifying the suppliers when we signed the contract and even took a fee for doing so. They wrote down the wrong electric meter readings when we moved in so when we gave these to the supplier they were not too impressed. The list is endless and I believe they will try and find anything to try and keep our deposit even though we haven't damaged anything since moving into the property 6 months ago. I will fight for it though! DO NOT RENT WITH THESE LYING CHEATING SCUM!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
