I found IXTL through a link for a Philips Onis 200 DECT phone which had been discontinued. I was led to believe that the phones I ordered were ex manufacturers stock and not second hand. I asked is they were used stock and was told "No".

Delivery was weeks overdue, despite numerous phone calls - when I could get through.

When the phones eventually turned up, they were in white unmarked boxes and not manufacturers boxes. When I set up the base unit, guess what...there was already some one's voice mail recorded message digitally recorded. Yes - these were second hand units - I feel very conned!!

Tip: Something that I always now apply to my online transactions....whenever buying online from a company with whom you have never dealt, ring them on their Contact Us link. If you cannot get through, then dump the order.

As many obstacles as possible were put in the way of me obtaining help from ITXL. I had to get codes from the manufacturer and fill in various forms (some of which had contradictory information on them). The helpline number was never available in office hours, and it was either engaged or giving a recorded message stating different office hours. The second number was never answered, even within those hours. They never replied to emails or letters sent by post.

I ordered a phone from IRXL. It arrived promptly, but it was not possible to register the phone to the base unit since it said that it was already registered. I tried to get through at all hours of the day and night and eventually got through at 1 a.m. The person answering the phone was suprised to find a customer! Action was promised but none occurred. I took every action up to letters by registered post, but to no avail. I will never use them again.

Made an order on 15th Feb 05 for Philips C350 digital phones, cancelled order on 17th and guess what, I am still waiting for my money to be refunded. I have contacted trading standards and it now looks like a county court job.

They do not answer the phone, they do not answer your e-mails and they didn't even collect a registered letter.

Ordered a BT diverse 5250 triple pack from ITXL received faulty goods, got sent another set of faulty goods when I complained and I am still to get a refund so I am taking them to court.

I have not received the item that I purchased, nor can I now track down ITXL. How can this company continue to operate under trading standards?

I ordered a BT Diverse 5250 with ITXL last December. Goods did not arrive. They said that they could not get the goods, and gave an option for refund which I chose. Still have not got my money back. I am shocked at how many people this company are scamming. I am trying to sue them for my money now.

In my experience ITXL will send you faulty goods and it's impossible for you to get them to take them back, or get a refund.

When a triple pack, UPGRADE, was sent, the satellite units would not work...(a) at a range of 25 meters into the back garden and (b) 30 meters from base unit, in kitchen, to living room.

Trying to phone ITXL is impossible as all numbers appear to be constantly engaged. Maybe they use their own phones.

I had paid for a BT dect phone. Information mailed three days later they won't be able to deliver the item and options for another product or refund. Opted for refund. Since then I am waitng. Now it is almost 5 months.

Can anyone suggest the best ways to deal them!!!
