“These guys are providing finance to people who have...”

written by bearface on 20/03/2006

Good Points
Professional and courteous; not patronizing in the slightest. Good range of stock (mostly 3 or 4 yrs old). Same day drive-away.

Bad Points
Lots of paperwork and finger-tapping. High screen-prices (although these turn out to be irrelevant in the end). Some slightly shoddy looking cars, but mostly decent and well-presented.

General Comments
These guys are providing finance to people who have bad credit and who therefore represent a greater risk than the average person. To that end, their higher rates are understandable, as are the initial screen prices of the cars themselves. Ultimately though, they get you into a decent car and the figures pan out pretty reasonably, with the prices written back to sensible levels and the high rates giving you scope to change roughly halfway into the agreement. I got a very clean and well-specified 2002 Mondeo estate without paying a penny deposit and including the 2-yr warranty, GAP insurance (believe me, you need to tick that box...) and I drove away in it the same afternoon. The staff were professional and efficient and I'd recommend the Leeds branch to anyone.
