“After seeing Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara on TV, I...”

written by moccah on 01/10/2007

Good Points
Comes off very easily
Doesn't make your lashes 'hard'
Perfect if you want to have a 'natural' look

Bad Points
Gives spider-paw lashes
After a few hours the result is even less spectacular

General Comments
After seeing Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara on TV, I was almost running to the store at the same time to buy it.

Long lashes, no clumps, new type of brush...I couldn't wait to give it a go.

Once I got home and used it the next day, my disappointment could not be any more. What a waste of money!

OK. I will be honest, it does give you separated lashes, and yes they will be 'long', but the brush is a pain in the behind to put it on your lashes.

Only after 3 to 4 layers I would have the result I was hoping to get out of this mascara, and even worse...even after 3 to 4 layers it still wouldn't be nice full lashes, but the spider-paw type of things you are not waiting for...

I will not buy this mascara ever again, and I have only used it about 5 times, after that my hope of nice long lashes had completely gone away.

I live in the Netherlands, and over here the mascara costs about 10 Euro's, which is about £6.96. This was a complete waste of money if you ask me ;)
