After reading these reviews i was not going to buy it, however surley it can not be that bad. Having bought the smoothover, i carried out what the video showed you on Polycell website. AND YES IT DOES WORK with great results. infact we used it on our brest of the fireplace which we used as a colour swatch previously not only did it smooth the walls and take out the dents it also hid the dark chocolate paint so you dont need baseover. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS MAKE SURE BEFORE USE YOU MIX WELL so that is it easier to stick to walls, MAKE SURE you roll the mix on first then use the scrapper to remove the excess back into the pot, last when dry sand lightly. well done polycell and thanks. (I am a 40yo NON DIY person.)
