I Have Had My Fuji Finepix F810 Zoom Since May 200

I have had my Fuji Finepix F810 Zoom since May 2005 and taken around 4,000 pictures with it. I like everything about this camera and would buy another one if I could find one, but they seemed to have stopped making them or stocking them here.

Beautiful clear pictures everytime and so easy to use.

No weaknesses a pleasure to use

There Would Seem To Be Two Types Of Digital Photog

There would seem to be two types of digital photographer; those who swear by Fujifilm cameras, and those who swear at Fujifilm cameras. Why the polarisation of opinion you might ask? The reason is the colour, it can only be described as being Fuji, it is different, more lively, more vivid, more enveloping, more pleasing than any other brand of camera I have seen. I have tried Kodak, Cannon DSLRs, Nikon and Minolta, all great cameras that create great images, but the colour isn't Fuji colour.

Some say it isn't natural, and they may be scientifically right. I take, and look at photographs for pleasure, not analysis. Colour and texture convey the emotion of the image to the viewer.

Sometimes we will take colour completely away from an image to increase the impact of the images texture, and sometimes we will take away the texture to increase the impact of the colour. Taking great texture with high resolution, and great colour with the Fujifilm CCD's, gives you breathtaking results from this relatively cheap and portable little camera.

All credit to the folks at Fuji. The F810 is a remarkable but of kit.

One word to the wise... Get some big memory cards, as 16MB is utterly inadequate.
