“We had a 'Sun' newspaper holiday at Steeple Bay

written by on 19/04/2010

We had a 'Sun' newspaper holiday at Steeple Bay holiday Park over Easter this year.

The park was lovely and a lot nicer than some of the reviews said.

The road up to it was a bit scary and more signs would have been good. The shop could do with a wider choice and no milk which is a staple really.

Checking in was good.

The 'club' was nice enough. Could have done with some information in the checking-in-pack about what entertainment was happening in the club. My daughter who's 1 yr old loved all the kids things and my mum loved the bingo. The playground could do with a bit of work.

We received no information about the pool at all - so didn't use that.

The caravan itself was lovely and very clean and nice. The linen pack was also very clean which is good.

The park itself was generally quiet and well kept - lots of obviously privately owned caravans with interesting gardens.

Generally a nice place to visit.

It is a bit far from places though - so if you want to visit places you will need to do a fair bit of driving.
