My wife bought a 'Firetrap' Jacket for £150 from the shop. She has only worn the jacket maybe 6 times over the past four months and the buttons are loose and the lining under the arms is falling apart.

We went into the shop with her receipt and asked for a refund due to the sales of goods act 1979. They refused. They said that they had to send it to their head office to look at. We received a telephone call saying that they still would not give my wife a refund as apparently this is considered normal wear and tear!!. The customer service manager was very rude and aggressive over the telephone. WE WILL NEVER SHOP AT REPUBLIC AGAIN AND ARE GOING TO TAKE THE MATTER FURTHER.... BE WARNED!!!!
