“Avoid Rentalcars.com”

I was late 1.5 hr. in pick-up time , my booking was denied by the car rental company-Locauto in Milan. Rentalcars representative suggested to cancel my booking and to make a new one with Avis with extra cost but without cancellation fees charges. At the refund they deducted the cancellation fees. Many claims and emails was answered negative.
It seems that Rentalcars and Locauto are working together to cheat the costumers and to take their money!
Book directly with the car hire company and avoid Rentalcars.com troubles !
