“Unsafe Putney, poor management”

I was assaulted at this gym by 2 members and management allowed them to stay on as members instead of terminating their memberships as per their own gym rules. Management were very slow to investigate and had to be chased numerous times (still ongoing after 8 weeks) and the cctv coverage of the main parts of the gym is inadequate. So if personal safety is important to you go elsewhere (as I did).

This was inevitable resulting from a more general problem at the gym - lack of enforcement of the rules by poor management team:
- very few people use sweat towels
- bags left on floor near machines instead of using lockers
- free weights taken outside of designated area and left lying around
- personal trainers running 1:1 sessions in aisles preventing access to machines
- lockers occupied for over 4 months before action eventually taken
