“horrible lines”

This was the one blemish on a wonderful trip. The pick-up line was so long at Charleston S.C. airport that people were shouting for the manager and calling people to get attention. Signs for queues were very confusing, not enough help, and poor response to multiple complaints from many angry customers. After an hour wait we finally received a car that had a horrible front end noise. Because we were now running late for appointments we kept the car against my better judgement, knowing that otherwise we would never make it on time. Fortunately the car performed well, though not without worrying us the entire ride. The return line, though shorter, was also not efficient. Never again for Budget/Avis.
