“25 year guarantee really?”

In 2011 we decided to purchase a new kitchen and living near to Ikea we obviously looked at them first. After comparing prices, we eventually bought a kitchen from Ikea with a number of appliances too.
After only a couple of years, the door front began to delaminate, and whilst I could understand that if they were in frequent contact with water, I couldn't understand why it happened on doors that were never in contact with water. Also screws seemed to work their way through the side panels.
We complained to Ikea and did get a visit from an assessor but we never had any further contact from them. It appeared that they use a delay and deny technique in the hope that customers will give up.
Im afraid to say, that after spending time and hassle that we have given up on Ikea.
After five years, the kitchen needs to be replaced so that is what we are going to do. we will however invest more time and effort in research and will spend much more money to get our dream kitchem.
I will never buy any furniture from Ikea ever again, I will not recommend them to anyone.
I will still visit Ikea, I love their market place, but as for any purchase of note, Ikea will not get my hard earned cash again
