“So terrible it blows ones mind. ”

Here is a list of reasons why this place is one star:

Good points:

1. The reason it gains a single star is because its location is perfect. Ideal distance to town, NTU and the train station. You really couldn't get much better in my opinion.

2. The security staff are very good and friendly.

Bad points:

1. Upon moving in they had no record of me staying there. Let me iterate a very important point, the accommodation staff have absolutely no conversations with the security. So when I moved in out of hours after being reassured by staff that security would sort the move in - it did not happen. They placed me in a random flat. Totally random. The place was a complete state, rubbish everywhere, fire alarms broken and hanging from the roof with the kitchen in a horrific state. The security guard then opened each flat door till he found a room that was empty and that was now my room. I then moved into my actual flat 2 weeks later.

2. The staff (reception not security, the security staff were very pleasant) are rude, incompetent have literally no motivation to help you with anything in any way. If you ask them a question they will give you a rude answer, presumably their ploy to get asked less questions. How they managed to secure a customer facing role is beyond me and a reflection of the wider company standards.

3. The accommodation (shared) is a rough and draining experience. The walls are very thin (I wish that was an exaggeration too). You can therefore hear everything. Everything. You will not be able to sleep unless by some miracle everyone decides on the same time to sleep. Not to mention the absolutely massive amount of noise coming from the road outside and people above or below you. Seriously factor in to whether you can live next to such a busy road!

4. The accommodation is hot. Oh so very warm. Buy a fan for the winter months and pray that you don't have to bare too long in the summer months. Not to mention if you leave your window open in Summer you will be welcomed with an infestation of small flies.

5. The laundry room is operated by Circuit. Need I say more.

6. Flats have doorbells - enjoy the constant ringing all night long when someone decides in their drunken haze its a fabulous idea to stand and press repeatedly.

7. Parcel policy is void of logic. If you don't have an email from them telling you you have a parcel you cannot collect it. Even though you know it has been delivered as you have confirmation of it, do not expect them to look. Also, I didn't receive a parcel till after a month because they couldn't look hard enough for it - I thought it was lost in the post.

8. Moving in - Main roads on both sides, with no immediate parking facilities - have fun moving in/out.

9. The bathrooms are not so much en-suites as they are little pods attached to the side of the room. For the price an actual en-suite would be nice.

10. There are 2 buildings. Trinity has security staff and the other which has an office for them never actually ever does. Hence, I found myself one morning avoiding 2 very drunk homeless people residing in the lobby of the accommodation.
