Good Points
Nicely situated if heading north.
The Farm Shop seems to be a hit with many people.
The Coffee Shop has a good range of coffee if you're knackered.
Bad Points
Bizarre car park layout (the spaces are diagonally aligned on the southbound side) - it only takes one unthinking driver and you've got a nightmare when trying to reverse out of a parking space.
General Comments
Whenever returning from the lake District, Tebay Services seems to be a natural stopping point for me.
OK, I have to be honest when I say this place is not perfect (see the "Bad Points"), but the shop is at least well stocked. They also sell really nice farm produce here - it took a friend nearly 20 minutes to look around the shop.
To be fair, this is a service station I'll be visiting quite a bit when I'm heading north.
