“I had a choice between the GX10 and the GD87. I chose...”

written by Skellionz. on 05/04/2003

Good Points
Very good quality ringtones 16 channel, very high quality screen (the best i have seen) java support

Bad Points
Ir port is pointless, low message space, vodafone live is a pile of rubbish (maybe they will sort it one day cause it could be good)

General Comments
I had a choice between the GX10 and the GD87. I chose the GX10 glad i did, i really do think it is a good phone, very nice polyphonic ringtones, the best screen i have ever seen, and java game support something that the GD87 dosen't have. On the other hand the GD87 has lots of better features that interest me such as chosing the backlit screen colour, it is also smaller and lighter than the gx10 though i don't think it looks as stylish. The sharp is nicley layed out though and the buttons are easy on the fingers. In the end the java support was the thing that tipped it for me and i'm glad i bought this phone it is one of the best ones out there today.
