General Comments
The DivX Movie player software is fantastic. It is available as a free download from the DivX website, (just search Google) and does everything you need. It is an avi. player with full movie functionality. On my Nokia N80 I have this and watch full length movies and TV programs stored on my memory card. It allows you to pause, fast forward, re-wind, it has subtitle comparability, you can change the audio language as well as picture quality (contrast brightness etc). It also allows you to rotate the video so you can watch it any way round on your phone you like. The quality is flawless if done correctly. Even though you could play a full 700mb film through this software on your phone (providing you have the space, because of the image size it can after a while cause the sound to loose sync with the image. However, there are plenty of free avi shrinker's out there (including pocket divex encoder that I use) which will take any avi. down to what ever size and quality you want it (you should be able to get a 700mb movie down to between 100mb and 200mb.
I highly recommend this to any symbian phone user with a bit of memory free. (an average TV prog will take up around 80mb after shrinking)
